We celebrated Maths week at SAJ during October. We went on a Maths trail around the school, played Maths games and we even had a special visitor in who spoke to the class about using their Maths Eyes. This means looking around and identifying colours, shapes and numbers in the immediate environment. This a Maths Poster that we created. Can you use your Maths Eyes to discuss this poster? For example, how many teddy bears can you see? What colours do you see? How many teddy bears are in the red set?
We spent the month of October learning all about Autumn. We integrated our learning across all areas of the curriculum. We went for a walk around the school to look for signs of autumn, we learned all about squirrels and we did some leaf printing! Here are some photos of our Autumn learning.
We always work hard in Room 4 so it’s important to take some time to relax! Here’s a photo of the class relaxing in the sensory room doing some meditation. This is a fantastic space which the class love visiting.
A visit to the garden
We are very lucky here at SAJ to have a lovely garden. Take a look through our slideshow to see the class enjoying this fantastic space!
Friendship Week at SAJ
We celebrated Friendship Week at the end of September. We did lots of different activities during this week for example listening to songs about Friendship and making friendship bracelets for each other!
