Welcome back to a new school year in Scoil Aonghusa Junior. A special welcome to the new children who joined our school this month - they are impressing us already by how quickly they have settled in. Welcome also to our new teachers Ms Spillane, Ms Kealy, Ms Gargan, Ms O'Loughlin, Ms Meaney & Ms Boland. New staff and new children help to bring a fresh energy to our school each year. I have always been so impressed by the children who attend our school and walking around the school this September I am, as always, greeted by lots of eager, happy, inquisitive faces.
As I know you are aware, Scoil Aonghusa Junior is a school with an ethos which holds the children at its heart. The entire staff are committed to providing the highest levels of care, safety and education for the children in the school. I became Principal of this school in September 2018, having worked here as Deputy Principal for a number of years. It is my aim to continue to build upon the secure foundations and current achievements established in the school and I feel honoured to be leading such a highly effective school. I am passionate about providing high standards of education to the children in SAJ. I know you will continue to support our efforts in all areas during your child’s time in SAJ. I strongly believe that school is a place for children to discover and unlock their talents and skills in a fun and caring environment.
