Autumn Nature Hunt!

The children explored by finding leaves, plants and even spotting some animals as we went on our autumn walk. We looked for different signs of autumn time including the leaves falling off the trees and changing colours.

Aistear- People Who Help Us

Heavy and Light

Over the last couple of weeks in our Maths lessons the children have been busy exploring measurements- tall/short, heavy/light, big/small and long/short. Below are pictures of the children figuring out classroom objects that are heavy vs light.

Our first trip to Castletymon Library

Having the library close by the school is fantastic. This week we walked down and had great fun exploring the library. The children enjoyed colouring, reading books, lego and lots of teddies!
