​🌻🍃Outdoor Learning🌳🌼
In junior infants we love to do as much learning outdoors as possible. We go on daily walks outside and nature hunts. We have recently collected autumn leaves for our nature table. We went on a mini beasts hunt where we found ladybirds, ants, worms and flies, we even to spot some squirrels in the trees. 

🕷️👻​Carving Pumpkins 🎃💀​​
To celebrate learning about Halloween the children have carved pumpkins in class. First they designed a face for the pumpkin and then we began carving them.

📖✏️Integrated Learning  📚😎​
We have been learning all about Halloween the last few weeks. To do this we have integrated our learning throughout all of our subjects. For example, in Maths we were counting spiders, in art we painted a witches potion and in Literacy we read 'Room on the Broom'. During Aistear we played in the magic shop and created our own witches potions.
