SCOIL AONGHUSA JUNIOR & WOLTERS KLUWER
DIFFERENCE DAY SEPTEMBER 2023

We will be forever grateful to  our past pupil, Niall Lynch, for putting Scoil Aonghusa Junior forward for a 'Difference Day' with his company Wolters Kluwer.

35 employees from Wolsters Kluwer took part in a team building event at Scoil Aonghusa Juniro on Friday 8th September. They fundraised for the project for months and then came to the school  to develop ..... an Outdoor classroom (with canopy),  raised beds and picnic tables, as well as outdoor musical instruments installations and artwork and blackboards installed on the wall!!!

This was such a wonderful celebration for our school and a project that will undoubtedly benefit the pupils for many years to come

Outdoor play and learning experiences are essential for children’s development, especially in the early years and provide a range of benefits for young children.  Being outside and learning outside provides children with invaluable experiences that can directly influence their physical and emotional development, social skills and creativity. The establishment of an outdoor classroom for our school will allow us to further enrich our pupil’s learning experiences and reinforce our ethos of the development of the ‘whole child’.
